Return & Refund Policy for Show Photos

Thanks for shopping at Fae Loudoun Photography. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help.

Returns You have 28 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging. Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase or an order number. 
 

Refunds

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your preferred account (please state in an email). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.

The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

Photoshoot Terms and Conditions

By purchasing services from Fae Loudoun Photography, you are agreeing to the following:
 

1. Definitions:

  • For the purpose of this agreement, the 'Client' shall be the person booking the commission, or where the context allows, be their assignee or successor.

  • For the purposes of this agreement, the 'Photographer' shall be Fae Loudoun, trading under the name of FL Photography.

  • The 'photographs' and 'products' shall be all photographic materials created by the Photographer, whether that be prints, digital files or any other form of physical or electrons material produced by the Photographer.

  • The 'fee' shall be the amount agreed between the Photographer and the Client for the provision of Photographs and/or Products.

  • The 'Booking' shall be the agreement between the Photographer and the Client to provide Photographs and/or Products as set out in the agreement.

  • Emails, letters, and messages via Facebook/Instagram are deemed to be 'in writing' for all purposes under this agreement.

  • These terms and conditions represent the entirety of the agreement between Fae Loudoun Photography and the Client. Any variation is only applicable when agreed in advance and in writing. 

 

2. Gift Vouchers

  • Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

  • Vouchers can only be used for the photo shoot they were purchased for. If you would like to upgrade to an extra package you will need to pay the difference of the monetary value.

  • Vouchers are only to be used with Fae Loudoun Photography.

 

3. Booking and Cancellation:

  • The Client will be required to pay a £20 deposit for photo shoots and will be required to pay in full before the booking date or on the day. Fae Loudoun Photography will send an email or message as confirmation of payment, to which bookings are confirmed, and orders placed. Fae Loudoun Photography reserves the right to suspend products and/or services in the event of non-payment within the specified terms.

  • Once a booking is made, if it is cancelled, a cancellation fee may be charged. If a booking is cancelled by the Client within one day of the starting time, Fae Loudoun Photography reserves the right to charge 50% of the full fee for the assignment. If a booking is cancelled by the Client within seven days of the starting time, no cancellation fee applies.

  • A 45p per mile charge will incur when travelling outside of Norfolk County. 
     

 

4. Data Protection: 

  • Fae Loudoun Photography agrees to keep the confidential information of its clients confidential, including all administration areas of websites and details of referrers and those who are referred. All such data recorded by a website will be completely secure, and all information will be treated as confidential in accordance with the Data Protection Act. Albums can be locked with a password for security.

 

5. Liability

  • The photographer Fae Loudoun Photography is not responsible for any accidents/injury/death to the horse or owner or to any third parties or property that may incur. You as the owner/client are responsible for your horse/horses and will be liable for any damages caused by them. If the photographer deems that the situation is dangerous then the session will be suspended immediately.

  • It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that any location being used has permission from the landowner/s.

  • Fae Loudoun Photography is not liable for any third parties hired by the client to assist with their photo shoot (e.g friends, family, grooms).

  • It is down to the clients discretion that safety clothing is worn during the handling of horses and the photographer will not be liable for any personal injury caused where it has not been used.

 

6. Copyright and Ownership of Materials:

  • The entire copyright in the pictures is retained by the Photographer, Fae Loudoun and title to all photographs remains the property of the Photographer. 

  • In accordance with the 'Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988', the copyright of all images created by the Photographer is owned by the Photographer. Unless the Photographer gives written authorization, the Client is forbidden in law to copy any images created by the Photographer, and agrees that all photographic reprints, digital duplication's or copies of any type made from images created by the Photographer shall only be carried out by the Photographer. The permission to reproduce such images is granted to the Client on the understanding that all fees and/or invoices are paid within the Photographer's stated payment terms.

  • Reproduction rights (if, and when granted) are strictly limited to the use specified on the Photographer's invoice and/or quotation. An agreement must be made with the Photographer before the pictures are used for a different purpose, or after the licence has expired. The Photographer reserves the right to charge an additional fee if the photographs are used for purposes other than what is shown on the Photographer's invoice and/or quotation.

  • Fae Loudoun asserts both her moral right to be identified as the author of her work and the right to a credit is asserted in accordance with sections 77 and 78 of Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.
